Good deal on an Autel scanner

I was looking for a good price on an Autel MaxiCOM MK808S. This was my first time checking out Auto In The Box. I compared a few sites and they had a professional diagnostic tool discount running which brought the price down a fair bit. Free shipping was a plus too. It arrived in Denver in about a week. The scanner works as expected. Felt like I got a good value for what I paid.

Reliable as always

I ordered an Autel MaxiSYS MS906 Pro from here last month. It arrived in about 4 days to my shop in Florida. This wasn't my first time buying from Auto In The Box. I've gotten a few different scanners and TPMS tools from them over the years. They've always been consistent with shipping and the gear is always legit. Good to know I can count on them for professional tools.

Got a Launch scanner, works fine

Needed a new scanner for my garage, just something basic. Ended up getting a Launch X431 Pros V from this site, Auto In The Box. Saw some good reviews, so figured I'd try it. Shipping took 6 days to get to my place in California. The scanner showed up in good shape, and I've used it a few times already. No issues with it, everything seems to be working like it should. Pretty straightforward purchase.

Thinking of picking up the Launch X431 V+. Can I use my first-time buyer discount with another coupon I found online? Or is it just one per order?

J June 2 months ago
Nah, only one promo code usually. Tried stacking before and it didn't work.

Yeah, they're pretty strict on the one coupon rule. Have to pick your best discount.

What's their return policy like if I get a diagnostic tool and it's not quite what I needed? Is it a hassle?

N Noor P. 2 months ago
I returned a battery tester once, it was pretty straightforward. Just make sure you follow their instructions, I think there's a timeframe you gotta hit.

Returns were easy for me too. Just gotta make sure you don't mess up the packaging or anything.

Any word on when their next big sale might be? Looking to grab an Autel MaxiIM IM608 II but waiting for a good deal.

K Kevin C. 1 month ago
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are usually their biggest sales. You might see something for Father's Day or Christmas too, but those two are usually the best.

Keep an eye out for a Spring Maintenance sale, they sometimes have those. Otherwise, holiday sales are your best bet for the big ticket items.

Is Auto In The Box generally better than, say, JB Tools for Autel stuff? Or are they pretty much the same pricing and service wise?

R Rachel Lindqvist 2 months ago
I've bought from both. Auto In The Box often has better deals during sales, especially for specific brands. JB Tools is good too but AITB has been my go-to for Autel.

Honestly, check both when you're buying. Prices can fluctuate. I'd lean AITB for their customer service experience if something goes wrong.

What payment methods do they take? Just credit cards or can I use something like PayPal?

R Rachel Q. 2 months ago
Pretty sure they take PayPal. That's how I paid for my last order.

Yeah, major credit cards and PayPal are definitely options. Standard stuff.
